Spawn Productions has provided Steadicam services for a wide variety of productions, both live and recorded. We’ve covered live sports, concerts, and other live television, along with music videos, short films, documentaries, news packages and much more.
Spawn Productions currently has three Steadicam systems, with the primary workhorse being our Steadicam M-2 Volt from Tiffen. We’re capable of handling cameras up to about 50 pounds, and have equipment to allow wireless control and monitoring. Cory has been operating Steadicam since 2015 and spent 7 days learning the art at a Steadicam Gold Workshop in 2021. He is also a member of the Steadicam Operator’s Association.

Steadicam provides incredibly stable, precise camera movement in ways that are not possible with dollies, jibs or handheld camera. A Steadicam also allows movement up and down steps, through tight spaces and in all sorts of places you never thought you could fit a moving camera.
